Science for the People is first published.

An outgrowth of the Scientists and Engineers for Social Action newsletter, it is published by a collective that includes Britta Fischer and Herb Fox from a commune at 9 Walden Street. An important forum for left-wing scientists, it moves to Somerville in 1975, then Cambridge, and continues to published until 1989.
